Cockpit "Yankee Lady" Jacket

Cockpit USA, under exclusive license from the Yankee Air Museum, has created a unique A-2 style Mil Spec Goatskin flight jacket with a beautiful hand printed vintage back of the B-17G Yankee Lady worn by the pilots and crew. The back of this limited edition item also features its 381st Bomb Group and Bomb Squadron insignia including the 533rd, 534th and 535th Bomb Squadrons. The jacket features inside pockets, side entry hand warmer pockets and a rendition of a patriotic Certificate of Citation from the United States Air Force.

This jacket is made of 100% Mil Spec goatskin. It follows the current Mil. Spec. US Navy pattern which Cockpit supplied to the Navy and Coast Guard units. The jacket features a bi-swing back but we have added a genuine silky lambs wool shearling mouton fur collar like the WWII era jackets (instead of the current government spec synthetic acrylic collar), knit cuffs and waistband, top entry front flap pockets, full zip front wind flap stamped with the USN insignia, under arm grommets, an inside chest pocket, and nylon lining. We recommend that you order one size larger than your normal size for a roomier fit as this is a Mil. Spec. size garment. For those who prefer the true to size fit, order your actual size.
