The ANJ-2 is one of our favorite aviator jackets. It was designed prior to WWII
to be the official Navy flyer’s jacket. This honor was ultimately given
to the G-1 and the ANJ-2/G-2 fell into obscurity. The Cooper USA type G-2 is
made from genuine mil spec water repellent goatskin with official detail, action
back, and inside map pocket. The lining is synthetic with rib knit cuffs and waistband.
Military spec zipper and fasteners ensure durability
even with the most rugged kind of wear. The G-2 has a leather top collar. The
lining is nylon oxford with wool rib knit cuffs and waistband. Made in the USA.
